Well, firstly I’d to welcome you to my blog. My name’s Luiz Carlos Pontes Gouveia, Brazilian, 30 years old, born and raised in Santos a city along the coast of São Paulo State. I’m married to a lovelly woman called Jaqueline who is pregnant of our first child, a boy who’ll be called “Liam”.

Jaqueline is a doctor, in 2016 she invited me to move to Australia, she wanted to learn English and maybe, if that were possible, get a job in her field. We lived in Perth for two years a half. Unfortunately or fortunately, nobody knows, she didn’t get a job but we consider that the experience of living overseas marked our lives in many aspects. I’d say that loving Brazil and living close to our parents were the two main reasons that really made us come back to our country in January 2019.

After having returned to Santos I took up studies in Law at Santa Cecilia University and after this point the reason why I decided to creat a blog takes form.

Honestly, creating a blog never was part of my plans but the idea of registering and translating to English everything that I’ve been learning in School started to chase me.
